3 Month Pics!

Yesterday was a busy day! Delanah had her 3 month pics! We were all up a little after 7am for her first feed and I decided to head back to bed for another 20min or so......I woke up at 9am! We needed to be out of the house no later than 10:15am...Oye! I needed to do everything to get myself ready in addition to feeding Delanah and getting her diaper bag ready, etc. It usually takes us more than an hour to get out of the house, and that's with me already showered! Dave was still in his pajamas as well...aaauuugggghhhh!!!!! Somehow my hair turned out okay, make-up looked good and I had everything I needed to wear. Dave ironed all of our outfits and Delanah wasn't as lazy of an eater as usual :) We still left the house late, and I had a knuckle injury, but we were on our way!
Ahhh, the knuckle injury....I was clearing her nose and went to open the blinds more, slipped on a magazine and somehow took a nice chunk out of my right ring finger knuckle. I was very lucky not to have bled onto Delanah's outfit as it was a bleeder! For once we had band-aids in the house...we took the box with us...just in case :)
We made it there about 15min late, but called ahead and Dominique was awesome and very accomodating. The pics went very well! We had one diaper change (a foosh at that), one feed and only 2 meltdowns :) The last meltdown was the end of the photography session :) We had 2 extra outfits we were going to attempt, but we stuck with her original one and she looked awesome! I did find a nice big bowed headband...and my goodness she was adorable in it! She hated it, of course, but we got some pics with it on anyway....yes, I'm evil :)
We came home to Grandma and Grandpa Suarez waiting for their Delanah cuddles. Oh, forgot to mention that Delanah was asleep within 1 min after leaving the photo session :) Grandma and Grandpa had come up to watch her while Dave and I got some things done around the house. I got to do some touch up painting upstairs and Dave finished our bathroom downstairs. Yay for Grandparents! We have Brendan and Jess in town in less than a week so I am trying to get my house in order before they arrive. A little bit every day!
Okay, off to check on my sweet pea and then to bed!
