A bubble!

Today was a fantastic day! After having a hard time putting her down last night, she didn't wake up for the day until 9:30am!! And what a happy little camper she was when she awoke :) Our plan today was to spend a gift card we received at the baby shower. Last night I went to check their website and it was shut down! I was hoping the store still existed, but alas, it was not to be. So now I have a gift card to scrapbook with :) We wandered around the mall a bit and stumbled upon a store called "pumpkin patch". I went inside and it was love at first sight! Colours looked as if they were made for Delanah's skin tone and the quality was wonderful as well. They were clearancing all of the winter items, and since it looks to be winter for a few more months yet, I had a great time! I was really there to get an outfit for her 3 month photos this weekend, but my goodness, we might have to return!
It was a beautiful day again today so sweet pea and I decided to take Bailey to the dog park. We hadn't been there in awhile and I knew Bay would love it. Bay is a different dog when she is with Delanah and I; she is more calm, stays close by and tends not to play with other dogs. When she's with Dave she plays and is more independent. Bay has been this way with me since I was pregnant..it's her protective puppy mode...she just stays close and would rather hang with me. This makes it a lot easier to handle her in the dog park!
Tonight we had some more Bumbo time and Delanah blew her first big spit bubble! I wish I had the camera ready, but it was set to the side...sigh! Isn't it funny how I can now get so excited over a spit bubble! She is a lot more interested in her fist at the moment as well; she literally knocks her pacifier out of her mouth to try shoving her fist in there! I am going to try feeling around her gums again tomorrow, but I think we may be entering some teething here really soon!
At the moment my poor little girl is very upset and fighting sleep. Dave had to leave this morning before 7am and got home about 7pm so he is trying to get his cuddles in right now, but I fear he is getting the worst end of it! I had lots of smiles and coos and cuddles today...poor guy...think I might go relieve him from cry duty :)
