Tonight was the night that I had been dreading for some time..my baby girl was going to try solid food! We had gotten infant rice cereal almost a week ago, but I just wasn't ready to try it yet. Well, tonight I took the plunge....and she did not like it! We have it all on tape, her scrunched up face, her tongue pushing the cereal all out, her interest in eating her bib instead....what a funny kid!
So...we're going to wait until next week to try it again. Whew for me! I just don't want her to grow up too fast! Is that selfish? Eh, whatever...I'm the mommy...I'm allowed to be selfish!
