No more mommy hair!!!

Today I was allowed the luxury of getting my hair done! I love my short hair, but I hate that it needs to be cut so often. Oh, and I'm cheap so I refuse to pay the money to get my hair cut as often as it needs :) I found the Aveda school in downtown Denver and jumped at the chance! I was able to get my hair cut and styled and highlighted for less that what I used to pay for just a cut! My student was actually already a graduate, but needed to make up some hours, so essentially, I got a salon stylist for quite cheap...yay penny pinching me! I was pampered and coiffed and I love my new hair! No more mommy hair!
Okay, let me explain my mommy hair...it had gotten long enough that it was in a pony tail daily, but it was not long enough to look good in a pony tail...it was not a pretty sight! This is the first time since the wedding that I had color put in my hair. I was asked if I wanted it to whisper, talk or shout...I chose somewhere in between talk and shout and I love, love, love it!!!
As much as I was looking forward to this time away to spend with adults, I missed my little sweet pea!!!! Oh, and by the time I was done (it took 4 hours to get everything done! Cheap, but not fast!) I swear I went up another cup size. I haven't been away from her for that long without pumping before....ouch!
It was nice to be someone other than "mom" this morning, but man it was nice to come home and be "mom" again :)
