Today while we were eating dinner my sweet pea had her first green bean! Okay, so she didn't really eat it, we washed a raw green bean and gave it to her to gnaw on while we were eating dinner. As we didn't have her high chair or Bumbo there she was sitting on my lap and until we gave her her own green bean, the little stinker was trying to snatch (and managed to be successful in some attempts) green beans from my plate!
I don't think she was too impressed with the taste, but she had fun with the green bean until she decided to try out her throwing muscles and tossed it away :) I think I am going to start giving her raw veggies to gum on while we eat dinner....will get her used to the taste of veggies without having to consume them yet and will make me make healthy meals every night! Win/win!
