So Delanah shocked both Dave and myself today...we were shopping (way too long at that) and Delanah was fussing so we gave her a paci. I looked over and she had grabbed it and was holding it in her hand! So we decided to get her a teether toy and see what she would do. During this time she was also chewing on her blanket :) We got her a loop rattle that was soft to chew on...well not more that 10min after we gave it to her (we placed it on her lap) she had grabbed it and brought it to her mouth!!! We were SO proud!!!! This may not seem big, but this was the first time she had done it and it was quite exciting for us...our little girl is growing up!
Just a few days ago, Friday of last week I believe, she was starting to grab her toys as she was sitting in her Bumbo. Just on Monday, a mere two days ago, she sat in her Bumbo and purposely grabbed her octopus! She knew what she wanted and went for it. Every little step is so big for us! Go Delanah Go!
