What a lovely day :)

It was SO hard to get up this morning! Delanah was a ray of sunshine a little after 7am this morning...full of gummy smiles and lots of spit bubbles! Unfortunately it was a mere 3 hours after I had gone to sleep! I thought we might have brekkie and then have a nap, but surprisingly I was pretty perky :) After breakfast Delanah was happy to play in her bouncy chair to let me shower and dress and even do some laundry! Then it was off to our WW meeting...only 1min late too :) Unfortunately there wasn't the big loss this week that the previous weeks held, but it was a struggle for me this week...I just wasn't getting in all the fruits and beggies I needed.
Delanah fell asleep during the meeting and I jumped on the opportunity to head to the library to catch up on some gossip mag reading and get some new books. We got home about 11:30 and she was still asleep! Stephanie had taken Bay on a walk (it was too cold for Delanah to go) and I met her outside and we chatted for awhile. Delanah decided to wake up a little after noon, had some lunch and then we were off to play in front of the mirror :) Oh, and don't forget about the fooshes during lunch!
Delanah was quite funny when we were looking in the mirror. She had wrapped her hands around my finger and was steadily feeding my fingers into her mouth :) She tried to give my thumb a hickey :) I would take my finger and run it around her gums and she would smile and laugh...too much fun! Then it was back in the bouncy seat for some cooing fun while I got some more laundry folded.
We were back downstairs for a change of scenery when I got the most unexpected text...it was only 2pm and Dave was heading home!!! He was downtown for the end of a conference and was done so he was coming to hangout with us...yay! Dave and Delanah tried to nap while I got some more things done downstairs and eventually Delanah fell asleep in Dave's lap, but no nap for Dave! While Delanah napped I went on a cleaning binge downstairs...it felt so good! It's much easier to clean when you know your baby is in good hands :) Dave built a bookshelf for me tonight and when he went to get more diapers and wipes Delanah fell asleep in her swing and I deep cleaned the living room and began more organizing! It's really starting to come together now :) Just a few more things to do, pics on the wall to put up, and I will be satisfied and done with my living room organization :)
Currently Dave and Delanah are playing with her floor gym. They rarely get time like this...Dave's job keeps him so late coming home that there are chores to do and dinner to make and bath time, et. It's been really fun watching them together this afternoon. Delanah loves her Daddy so much and Dave just loves his daughter to bits. I hate that he can't see all her milestones as they happen...tonight he gets to see her grab things on her own for the first time. He's such a proud Daddy!!!
