Soy milk too?

Last night was brutal! Rather, this morning was! Poor Delanah had such bad gas and just screamed as soon as we would set her in her crib. Dave took first shift, then my turn and then he slept in the glider with Delanah and then I took her into bed with me while he caught a nap on the couch downstairs...brutal! The only thing we can figure is that I added two bowls of cereal using soy milk over the past few days...nothing else new in my diet. Suck! I had been dreaming about bowls of cereal as well :( Dad was to be here at 10am to watch Delanah so I could get some errands done, and we were just getting moving at 9:30 :) Dad came and laughed as I finished my brekkie of a breakfast sandwich and diet dr. pepper....mmm...healthy, and then he watched her while I was able to shower and get ready. After a breakfast for miss Delanah I was off! My errands took much longer than I thought, but I got most of them done! My "instant" photos took about 30min...but what can you expect when they have to do a photo paper roll change in the middle and you are printing off 144 pics! And this just covered Delanahs first week!!!
In the parking lot I had an unnerving incident. I was getting into the car when all of the sudden there was this man there spinning a yarn about forgetting his wallet in a restaurant where he had gone for a business meeting, how they still hadn't found it after 2 hours and could I give him some money for gas so he could drive home to Pueblo (2 hours south of here). I said I had no cash and got in and locked the doors and turned to see him talking at a young mom as she was trying to get her son out of his car seat. That was it for me. I don't know exactly what I would have done if Delanah had been with me, but I don't think anyone would blame my actions if I were protecting my child. I went back inside and spoke with the young lady I had been conversing with while waiting for my pics (she's a mom of a young one as well) and explained the parking lot incident and asked of there was a way security could check it out for me. She was on their intercom system before I was more than a foot away. As I was driving away I was pondering the situation, wondering if I had been too hasty in my response...but I was realizing that the restaurant he mentioned he lost his wallet at was no where near the shopping center we were at, and how and why did he pick this shopping center, and why was he getting people only as they were almost literally one foot in their car? Strange!!!!
Apparently while I was exhausting myself with my errands Delanah was cozy at home enjoying Grandpa cuddles :) When I got home she was still sleeping! As soon as she heard my voice though she was up and quite upset to realize that she was hungry :) Dad left soon after that, without lunch, boo, and Delanah and I were on our own for the evening as Dave was going downtown for a business dinner. It was then I realized that I had not really eaten today! Dave was kind enough to pick up a grilled chicken sandwich for me to drop off on his quick stop at home (heavy on the grill of the sandwich....not going to be craving Chili's for awhile!). Delanah got to have some quick cuddles with her Daddy before he was off to his dinner. Delanah had some dinner herself, we had some cuddles and then as she started fussing I put her in her swing and she was out within 5 minutes :) After about an hour I decided to join her and took a nice cat nap on the couch. I woke when Dave got home and we had to wake Delanah. Her facial expressions were just too cute! She looked confused, as to why she was being woken up, how Dave got home, why she was moving, etc. A quick 2nd dinner for her and up to bed and she was out within about 20min! Poor thing must be exhausted! I am still going after my nap, but at least Dave got to head to bed at a decent hour tonight...finally!
So here I am...why am I still up? I am watching "The Prince and I" on TV...a movie I have seen countless times before...it's not like the ending is going to be a surprise! Tomorrow is another weigh in...I hope I lost again this week! I was a bit off in my eating with the sleepless nights this week, but I don't think I was that off....hmmm...am I convincing myself of that right now? :) I am hoping tomorrow is a nice day so Stephanie and I can take another walk. I am also hoping Delanah would like to take a nap so I can get some organizing/cleaning done...I got nothing done today in the house! I did get some more storage items during my errands today and I am looking forward to getting those set up. It is just strange to not even have gotten a load of laundry done today...I was just so tired! We have only a few more days before Brendan shows up so I would like to have the house a bit more organized and some more of her toys put away (our living room has been taken over with swings and play gyms!) and it never hurts to clean!
Okay, I really need to go to bed!

Oh!!! I forgot to mention...I took a look at the proofs tonight from Delanahs photo session Sunday...and they are fantastic!!!! There are some great shots in there (and some not so great ones of me), but I am so excited about them!
